ClipSet

After a long drawn out lockout basketball is back.  By now I’m sure everyone is up on the whole Chris Paul trade fiasco.  In less than a week he was supposed to have been traded to the Lakers as part of a three team deal that got axed by the league, then he was traded to the Clippers that also got blocked before finally landing with the Clippers after the league finally approved a trade.  Things in LA are interesting to say the least  nowadays  The Lakers have also been the talk of the town, but with the addition of Chris Paul, Chauncey Billups and Caron Butler to Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan the spotlight has shifted towards the Clippers.

Last night the new look Clips played their first preseason game coincidentally against their Staples Center roomies the Lakers.  The Clippers won a few big games last season, but they were always the underdog.  Even though it wasn’t the first time the Clippers beat the Lakers and it was only a preseason game, everyone can agree last night there’e a shift of power at Staples.  Things are going to be interesting here in LA and we’re definitely routing for the ClipSet!  Stay tuned!
