This is going to be a break from our regular coverage. Orisue has crossed the border and made it into international territory: Mexican Tribal Guarachero, also known as 3ball. Pioneered by 3Ball MTY, the trio of DJ’s Erick Rincon, Sheeqo Beat and Otto have carved out their own genre of Tribal music mixing pre-Hispanic and African sounds with Cumbia basslines. They’ve gotten the nod from Mad Decent, including working with world re-nowned producer and DJ Toy Selectah. Not only have they spawned a fashion phenomenan of Mexican Pointy Boots but have also been spotted wearing Orisue during performances and promo.
