Braving the 110 degree Las Vegas heat, S.L.A.T.E. at MAGIC Day 1 was filled with energy drinks, appointments, meetings, afterparties, and for some … sleep. The whole crew from Marketing, Design and Sales were busy all day and night – here are just some of the photos that captured our experiences during the first day.
Katie (MAGIC) stopped by the booth to make sure everything was running smoothly. Everything was great of course, the Magic staff are always amazing.
Our appointments rolled in early. Isaiah probably gives one of the best line showings in the business.

Things started picking up very quickly.

Pretty soon our booth was in full swing, with each rep showing multiple accounts all day long.

Hiro from True stopped by with this crew to view the line. True has been stocking Orisue for around 4 years now. If you are in the Bay Area, make it a point to check them out!

Ki & Rick from Abakus hold down Philly for us. Apparently Rick has the most amazing Vietnamese restaurant in all of Philadelphia. I think we’re going to have to plan a trip to put that to the test, Doaner what do you say??

One of my favorite parts of the show is Frank’s Chop Shop. They bring out one of Las Vegas’ finest barbers to keep everyone fresh. Mook the Barber has been hooking people up for the last few shows now. Come see him if you get the chance.
Anoma and Kelly from Complex scouring the SLATE floor for the newest and hottest.
James and Elvin (Attic) reviewing the new line. Elvin do you remember anything last night from XS? ![]()
I remember meeting Marek (T.I.T.S.) years back when we were both showing at Agenda in San Diego. We both had tiny booths back then and were doing our best to make it. Both of our brands have definitely come a long way since then.
T.I.T.S. had a pleasant surprise for all the show-goers with an appearance at their booth from some of the film industry’s finest: Asa Akira and Kristina Rose.
