“A Day At A Time” is the sequel to our Chapter 1 video. Each of our models are individuals who are in various stages of their craft so we wanted to weave in their real life pursuits into our story. Chapter 2 takes us through a days length with our 3 characters where we get to see slices of their day.
The day starts with Brandon, a 24 year old college student with dreams of becoming a professional photographer. Brandon’s day starts with Jaz, he hops out of bed to get ready for gigs he has lined up for the day. Balancing school and photography, it’s important to be on time and prepared. He makes his way home to ready his equipment for his first shoot.
While Brandon prepares for his shoot, we see Fashawn in the studio working on his newest project “Higher Learning 2″. The 22 year old emcee was raised in the streets of Fresno and is hailed as one of Hip Hop’s best new artists. Fashawn’s commitment to music is the key to his success. He manages to get things done by multi-tasking, like scheduling his tattoo session during the middle of his mixing session at the studio.
Jarren arrives at the studio for Fashawn’s appointment. Being the quiet type; his craft is his method of expression. He can be found tattooing anyone from his friends to various celebrities on any given day of the week. Collared shirts and neck ties were traded in for face and neck tattoos long ago.
Brandon’s first shoot of the day is with model and video vixen, Jalissa. She has an upcoming feature in an automotive magazine and Brandon happens to be the photographer for the shoot.
A dinner meeting for Cameron before he has to head out to his bartender job which supports his real ambitions of becoming an actor. He has a meeting with stylist Jaz to discuss upcoming projects.
Night falls and it is time to have some fun. We see our characters brought together as their paths cross. Jarren hangs out with his friends as Brandon documents the evening for all the party goers. Cameron mans the bar and keeps the drinks flowing.
