For our Fall 1 Look Book we wanted to raise the bar on every level possible. Finding the right venue and esthetic’s are essential to our look books and brand, but we also felt the background ambiance was equally as crucial. For each shot our team spent hours setting this up to give that look we were wanting for Fall. Our Look Book is dropping later this week, but in the mean time take a look at the photos below for a better introduction and feel to what our Fall Line and Brand will be providing you this season.
This past weekend we traveled a few miles out from LA to Glendale to shoot our Fall 1 Look Book. A lot of preperation goes into our shoots, from location scouting, finding the right group of guys that both fit our clothes & compliment each other, then lastly needing to sort through countless females models (trust me this is by far the hardest part) that help accent everything. Aside from getting all the models in line, there’s endless little details to be filled like accessories for outfits, making sure everyone is fed, keeping everyone on schedule, the list goes on and on. As you can tell it’s a great ordeal of work, but in the end it all pays off.
Our friends from Sutter Home sent us a few cases of wine for the shoot. Did you know Sutter Home invented White Zinfandel?
The good folks at Oakley, Flud Watches and Cloud 9 Watches helped us out and sent over accessories to complete the looks for the shoot . Thanks a lot fellas!
Our photographer Jason Wallis has been handling our photographry for a few seasons now. Jason is always trying to find that unique angle to make sure all our photos stand out.
If you’re a fan of Orisue fam FarEast Movement (FM) then you need to be familiar with these guys. Jon of the Stereotypes (left) is part of the production team that made hits like “Girls On The Dancefloor” and Kelvin (Interscope/Cherry Tree Records) is the man that helped get them their major label deal. They came through to check the scenery.
We want to thank everyone that participated in the shoot and we definitely need to send a special thank you to Michael K and everyone at Kitchen12000 who took care of everything from preparing the house for the shoot to making sure everyone at the shoot was comfortable and had something to eat and drink. Also, to all the models that participated as well as our amazing hair and makeup girls Alexis (Hair) and Jessica (Makeup).
Below are some sneaks from what the look book is going to look like.
The look book will be dropping at the end of the week so stay tuned!
Orisue rider Clive (CJ) Dixon has been on a bit of a terror lately. He’s been fuckin spots up in New York, Philly, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Southern California, and all around his lovely home state of Florida. The Skatepark of Tampa guys took notice and swooped Clive up. He has been out of a shop sponsor for awhile and just totally earned his spot on the Tampa Team. Here’s Clive and his lil montage that his homie Ricky Lester shot and edited at Eastwood Skatepark by his house. The park was closing in an hour so they decided to film a montage all in only one hour for their latest installment of “Hour-tage”. Congratulations Clive, now sit back and enjoy…
